Hi everyone! For today’s Guest of the Month Club post, I want to welcome Rachel of Go Read a Book, who is here to talk about the top 5 books she wants to read in 2016! Take it away Rachel!
In 2016, I’m looking forward to reading tons of awesome new releases as well as reading backlist titles that I have yet to tackle. These are all books that I currently own and plan on reading sometime this year because they contribute to various challenges, and they are simply books that I’ve been dying to read!
So without further ado, here’s just some of the books I plan on picking up sometime in 2016.
1. Heist Society by Ally Carter
I’m extremely late to the Ally Carter party. I have yet to become super obsessed with her books. However, I’ve heard nothing but good things about this series. I bought the book awhile back, so I’m looking forward to finally reading it!
2. Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
Sarah Ockler is another author that I’ve been dying to read. This specific book is one that I’ve heard the most about, so I’m looking forward to picking it up.
3. How to Be Brave by E. Katherine Kottaras
This was one of my most anticipated books of 2015. The cover is adorable, and the synopsis looks amazing as well.
4. Last Year’s Mistake by Gina Ciocca
Last Year’s Mistake is yet another 2015 release (also a debut novel) that I was excited about last year, but somehow never got around to checking out for myself. I bought it on Book Outlet at the beginning of this month and I can’t wait to get around to it.
5. The Revenge Playbook by Rachael Allen
I JUST bought this book on Barnes & Noble and I can’t wait to devour The Revenge Playbook. My friend Lauren from Bookmark Lit has told me nothing but good things about it. Additionally, I love books that promote sports and female friendship, so I’m ecstatic to read!
I’d like to thank MC for letting me be on her blog in honor of the Guest of the Month Club! It’s been fun getting to talk and get to know you better!
