Late Night...

It’s Friday, Friday! And I had a snow day today! Hooray for long weekends! We had a freak snowstorm that wasn’t even predicted and I got stuck with a foot of snow. So I had a lovely day of reading today and it was just what I needed.

I barely read 10 pages total this entire week, but today I managed to finish my first two books of February! Yay! Now the only book left that I am really currently reading is The Girl From Everywhere by Heidi Heilig, which I am buddy reading with Emily at Emily Reads Everything (except she is already finished because I am a slacker and she reads much faster than I do). I’m looking forward to hopefully getting this one finished this weekend or early next week.

The Rainbowthon starts on Sunday, so I have been trying to figure out what I want to be on my TBR for next week. I still haven’t completely decided. If you want to help me pick some books, head over to my Twitter and tell me which ones I should read. I will probably decide to start the readathon a day early because I can’t look at a pile of books and not start reading them right away! Also, I tend to get over-ambitious with readathons and try to read way more books than I know I can. I really want to try reading six books this week, so I figure if I give myself an extra day it will increase my odds. It’s not cheating….kinda….

What are you reading this weekend?

When every reading night becomes a late night…..

…..blame it on the books.

  1. I am so curious about The Girl From Everywhere. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I hope to get to it next weekish, or the week after. Six books is pretty ambitious. Good luck with your read-a-thon!

  2. Reading right now has been so hard. I’ve got one sick kid and a sick husband. Nothing is getting done. I need a maid lol. Or a nanny or something.

I’m enjoying it so far! I’ve gotten distracted and I really need to get back into it because it’s a really fun story!
