Late Night...

TGIF!!! I’m super glad it’s Friday because I am SO in the mood to read and I can’t wait to read all weekend. And we are expecting a big storm in the Northeast, so I couldn’t do anything but stay in and read even if I wanted to! Woohoo!

I am trying to catch up on review books, but I also want to do some fun reading this weekend as well. I am currently reading Symptoms of Being Human by Jeff Garvin. I am almost halfway done and so far it is phenomenal. Hopefully the second half is just as amazing as the first. I also want to start reading Firefight by Brandon Sanderson for the Reckoners (Re)Readalong hosted by Tamara at Tamaranic. And I have this giant mountain of books from ALA that are just dying to be read, so hopefully I can pick up one of those beauties very soon.

Fun anecdote time: Tonight we had a birthday party for one of my coworkers and I shoved some of his birthday cake in his face. He retaliated and we both ended up covered in icing. I’m known for being pretty klutzy and not stealthy at all, so pulling this off was one of my proudest moments. 🙂 I highly recommend having a cake fight at some point in your life, if you haven’t already. It was so ridiculously fun.

Alright…I’m off to go get this cake out of my eyelashes…

What are you reading this weekend???

When every reading night becomes a late night…..

…..blame it on the books.
