Hey everyone! It has been about a month since I have written a T5W post (a bunch of my past posts were pre-written) and it feels so good to be back! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the states and this week’s topic is books we are thankful for. I absolutely love Thanksgiving, so I’m so glad that we get to talk about books we are grateful for this week. As avid readers, I think we are all pretty grateful to have books in our lives, but there are always a few that hold special meaning for us or are connected to special memories. The books I have chosen are ones that are special to me for various reasons. I wouldn’t necessarily classify them all as my favorite books, but they will always have a special meaning to me.

So, without further ado, here are the top 5 books I am thankful for:

5. The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness

For being exactly what I needed, right when I needed it.

4. The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants Series by Ann Brashares

For helping me realize I shouldn’t be afraid of being myself.

3. Eragon by Christopher Paolini

For being the first book I was able to share and read with a significant other (oh, high school).

2. The da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

For being the first book I was ever told I shouldn’t read….I read it anyway.

1. The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

For being…well, basically my entire childhood.

And, finally, I am thankful for all of my books….

For being the friends I could turn to whenever I needed them.

What are some books that you are thankful for?

Wishing everyone a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving!

When you are grateful for every single book…..

…..blame it on the books.
